"Coffee with Clancy" a Success

This morning five OU-Tulsa students (representing 4 different academic programs) had the opportunity to sit down with President Gerry Clancy and myself to discuss the student experience inside and out of the classroom at OU-Tulsa.  Some of the topics discussed included the construction of the Founders Student Center, the employment outlook for our soon-to-be graduates, faculty accessibility, the size and focus of our campus, housing options, meal plans and dining options on and around campus, and campus security.  The discussion lasted over an hour and seemed to give all involved parties an opportunity to better understand one another and learn something new about our campus/community in the process.

We are happy to announce that the Coffee with Clancy program will continue once per month throughout the fall and spring semester, as an opportunity for our students to discuss pertinent issues with Dr. Clancy in a relaxed, conversational setting.  More information will be coming soon regarding our next scheduled date and time.

Also, I would like to encourage all of our students to utilize the comments section below to provide advice and additional ideas for how the office of Student Affairs and campus administration can better serve your needs as an OU-Tulsa student.  We look forward to hearing from you!
